INR Autograph
Hello INR Members and Fellow Racers!

We've made it through two events since the last newsletter! Our July 11th event saw 51 drivers and almost made it to the end of the day before it started raining. The course designers did a fantastic job of utilizing our limited space and set up a course that was fun and challenging. Thanks to everyone for another great event!

More recently, we made it through another Hoosier challenge! This year's Challenge, hosted by Indy region, saw 131 drivers. The golden cone award went to Indy with Fort Wayne region in second place. INR missed second place by 3 points! For those that aren't aware, the Golden Cone award is based on points earned by each region's drivers and how they place in their classes. Thanks Indy for well run event!

The board has been discussing the possibility of hosting a Cars & Coffee meet in the morning before our events.  We hope to generate support through Region Rides. The idea is to bring more people to our event with hopes of having them catch the autocrossing bug!

We have also been discussing the need for new event locations. We have a short list of possible sites and we are in the process of gathering insight and resources from other members that have worked through the process.  If you've driven by an open parking lot and thought, "hey, this would be a great place to autocross!", let us know!  It could be our newest site!

Our next event is this Sunday, August 16th at the casino.  Click in the link below to register for the event.

Please be aware of the late start required by the Casino.
  • 9:30am - 10:50 Registration Open
  • 9:30am - 11:00 Tech Inspection
  • 11:30 Drivers Meeting
  • 12:00 Green Flag
Novices must be registered by 10:15 and present for Novice Meeting and Novice Walk at 10:30

If you would like to help with course design and setup, please join us August 15th at the casino at 10 am.

As always, keep tabs on INR events through our Facebook page, newsletters and membership meetings.
