Races
can't happen without a
dedicated and talented field of Race Officials and we are always
looking for more. "Race Official" sounds important...and it is, but
it's very easy to become one.
Race
Officials are people who volunteer
to staff positions at the track during race weekends. These people wave
flags at the corners, help grid cars before the race, work the timing
and scoring system, help register drivers and other Race Officials,
throw the green and checkered flags, ensure the safety of the event,
and more.
All
one needs to do is show up at the track and say, "I want
to help." INR will be holding BRIEF outlines of some of these
specialties at each club membership meeting starting in April.
